Smart City Lab presents on “Urban Infrastructure in India”at PRS Legislative Research.

Siddharth Pandit, Chair – CIDCO Smart City Lab, presented an overview of the Urban Infrastructure Policies in India at PRS Legislative Research to the current LAMP Fellows.
The first urban infrastructure policy in India, Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission, was launched in 2005 to address the challenges of urbanization, need for urban sector development and improve quality of life in cities. A decade later, Government of India is taking the next steps in process with AMRUT, Smart Cities Mission, Housing for All, HRIDAY and Swacch Bharat.
